• Trimming & Rehabilitation:  I offer a specialized barefoot trim on a 4 or 5 week trimming schedule. 


• Certified Formahoof Applicator: Formahoof is a polymer boot that protects and helps the horse grow a healthier hoof.  


• EasyCare and Scoot Boot Stockist     Glue on EasyCare Boots Composite Glue-on Shoe applicator


• Hay Collection and Analysis - Hay collection using the Equi-Analytical probe.  Help filling out paperwork.  Analysis of report to help you understand what is provided in hay.  Suggestions for supplementation. 

Consultation Services 

There are many factors that influence the soundness of your horse. 

I have developed a thorough approach to assessing your horse for the purposes of improving hoof health and soundness.  I work with you and your horse, to gather information about management, diet, hoof health, tack and observe the horse in motion.  

 I develop a plan to help connect you with the most appropriate equine care providers.  As a team, we work towards helping you achieve your goals for your horse.    

Qualifications: 
I have worked with horses for many years.  During that time I have been a rider, a lesson instructor and now, a rehabilitative barefoot trimmer.  I have  worked hard to earn certification in trimming.  Currently, I am working on additional certification through the Progressive Hoof Care Practioners.  I have taken several equine nutrition courses.  Earned a certifcate of completion on the NRC Plus (NRC nutrition Requirements for the Horse from Dr. Elenor Kellon).  Taken several online courses in equine anatomy,  identifying lameness, equine hoof diseases, and saddle fitting to name a few.  To see a more detailed list of the courses, seminars, clinics and other experiences I have had, please click on the link below!

What is The Process? 

1. Contact me and I will send you a link to a intake questionnaire.  Once you submit the questionnaire, I will contact you to set up an appointment. 

2. I will come out to your farm and we will discuss the questionnaire and I will observe your horse, on the ground and while ridden (if appropriate). 

3. Next, I will collect any other pertinent information such as health records and radiographs from you and compile a report.  It will include suggestions and recommendations for equine care providers that you can contact.  Finally, we will discuss a plan for you and your horse,  schedule a trim, boot fitting and any other service that is required.
